Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect on egchouse.com, why, and what you can do about it.
1. Who we are
EGC House is run by two sole traders registered in Slovenia. Together they decide how your personal data is used, so both are responsible for it (joint controllers):
- Nika Kralj s.p.
Registration number (matična številka): 9075097000. Tax number: 61293547. VAT ID: SI61293547. - Timotej Jerman s.p.
Registration number (matična številka): 9675892000. Tax number: 64038599. Identified for VAT under Article 76.a of ZDDV-1 (SI64038599), not a VAT payer.
Both have the same access to the data. For any question or request about your data, write to [email protected].
2. What we collect and why
Website analytics, only with your consent
If you click Accept in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, which buttons are clicked, how far people get in the LinkedIn quiz, the device and browser type, the approximate location (country or city) and the website you came from. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses, and we have switched off Google signals and ad personalisation. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
The LinkedIn quiz
You can take the quiz and see your result without giving us any personal data. The quiz loads its questions and text from our Google Workspace account, so your browser connects to Google when the quiz opens. Your answers stay in your browser until you send the form. If you fill in the form at the end, we receive:
- your first name, work email, company name and company size
- your quiz answers, your stage and the steps the quiz suggested
- how you reached the quiz (for example a LinkedIn or linktree link) and the date
- your consent choices: contact about your result (required to send the form) and the newsletter (optional)
We use this to contact you about your result and how to reach the next stage. If you also tick the newsletter box, we send you the EGC House newsletter.
Booking a discovery call
Calls are booked through Google Calendar appointment scheduling, which loads only when you click a booking button. Google collects the name, email address and any notes you enter, and passes them to us with the calendar invite and Google Meet link. We use them to hold the call and follow up.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we keep your message and contact details to reply and follow up.
Hosting and security
Our website host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. Fonts are hosted on our own site, so loading a page sends nothing to Google Fonts.
3. Legal basis
- Analytics cookies: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act, ZEKom-2).
- Contact about your quiz result: your consent, given with the tick box (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Newsletter: your separate, optional consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Discovery calls and emails: steps you ask us to take before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Hosting and security: our legitimate interest in running a safe website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
4. Who processes data for us
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We use these providers, who process data only on our instructions:
- Google Ireland Limited: Google Workspace on the egchouse.com account (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, and the Google Sheet where quiz contact details are stored) and Google Analytics.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting and security.
We may also share data where the law requires it, for example with tax authorities or courts.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Google and Cloudflare may process data in the United States. Both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and their data processing terms include the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep data
- Quiz contact details and newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them at [email protected].
- Discovery calls and emails: as long as needed for the conversation and any contract that follows, and after that only as long as the law requires (for example accounting records).
- Google Analytics: for the retention period set in Google Analytics, no longer than 14 months.
7. Cookies and browser storage
_gaand_ga_K70PSSZ42S: Google Analytics cookies, set only if you accept. They last up to 2 years.egc-consent: stored in your browser to remember whether you accepted or declined cookies, so we don’t ask on every page. It stays until you clear your browser data.egc-float-quiz-dismissed: remembers that you closed the quiz reminder on mobile. It is deleted when you close the browser tab.
When you open the Google booking calendar, Google may set its own cookies, as described in Google’s privacy policy. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie icon in the footer, or manage cookies here.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct or complete it
- delete it
- limit how we use it, or send it to you or another company in a common format
- stop using it on the basis of our legitimate interest, and stop sending you marketing at any time
Write to [email protected]. We answer within one month. Every newsletter also has an unsubscribe link.
If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Slovenian data protection authority, the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, www.ip-rs.si).
9. Automated results
The quiz calculates your LinkedIn stage from your answers. This is guidance only and has no legal or similar effect on you.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we update it on this page and change the date at the top.
